We raised close to $6000 in cash, checks, and supplies for 2nd Chance Women's Shelter. A huge thank you to Kaitlin Haynes, our 2020 Miss Motorsports Charity Queen, who raised the most in cash and donations! Another huge thank you to Brooklyn Isbell, our 2020 Miss Cheaha Charity Queen, with the second highest amount in donations!

With 250 boxes of clothing and food, Community Enabler received thousands of items of donations! Two trucks and two trailers hauled these goods to them!

These donations were from the friends and families of the 105 young women who participated in Miss Calhoun County Christmas. These gifts amounted to thousands of articles of clothing each of which will find a new home to those most in need in our community. These exceptional young ladies who came together tonight in the spirit of competition and pageantry set the example for all of us to follow

Community Enabler Developer is a local agency on the frontline of the economic crisis providing food, clothing and utility assistance to the burgeoning number of people seeking aid from the newly unemployed to the chronically poor. Maudine Hollaway (CEO) and her staff share the conviction that "folks need a hand-up not a handout." Their website is www.unityenabler.org
